Stuck for something to do this weekend? Whether you want to channel your inner Olympian, be inspired by the arts, go on an adventure or relax and unwind along the canal, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has something for everyone. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park highlighted the importance of the Arts and Culture which Hackney is so famous for, in providing an integral part of the Park’s identity. You can browse and be inspired by the 26 different pieces of art across the Park before stopping off for a bite to eat at The Podium or Timber Lodge Café. If you fancy a challenge, why not zoom to the top of the UK’s tallest sculpture, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, for stunning views across the city before plunging down the 400m slide! How about cycling in the tracks of Chris Hoy at the Velodrome, one of the many iconic Olympic venues from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games at the Park.

For those looking for a more relaxing visit, unwind in the parklands or relax on the boat tour along the canal whilst learning facts about the Park from your very own expert tour guide.

Don’t forget to be photo ready for your visit so you can strike a pose next to the Olympic Rings in the North of the Park @NoOrdinaryPark. For more information about the park, and the activities that could be on your doorstep, visit:
