Georgie Mason, a local London based artist living and working in Hackney Wick, opens her studio on the 21st March 2018 at Swan Wharf Studios to exhibit her latest collections, offering promotional paintings and printings.

The open studio event will be held from 10am-7pm on the 21st March as part of the new ‘Wick Wednesday’ event from Creative Wick.

Wick Wednesday is held every third Wednesday of the month, promoting co-ordinated creative, cultural events that encourage locals to experience a life ‘less ordinary’ in this hidden gem of London, Hackney Wick. Wick Wednesdays allows the local people of Hackney Wick to get to know the people within their community better and to support local businesses/projects on the Island.

There is a great range of events on offer including theatrical productions, life drawing, art exhibitions, drum workshops yoga and even drag queen bingo.

We followed Georgie’s work for some time, and loved it so much we decided to license a piece and are delighted to have ‘Fairground’ on display in our gallery in the marketing suite at Fish Island Village.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
